What an amazing stay!
The location was perfect tucked away enough to feel peaceful, but still close to great cafes and the beach. The villa was clean, spacious, and beautifully designed with a great pool and open living area. Also loved being up on the rooftop for sunset! The staff were super friendly and responsive to anything I needed. Would definitely come back again!

Had a really nice time at this villa it is just as nice as in the photos if not better. Finding a nice place to stay in Uluwatu is hard especially in this area. It was quiet, peaceful and close to a lot if really nice beaches and restaurants. The staff was helpful and made sure that everything during my stay was taken care of. Definitely would stay here again and recommend!

We had a lovely stay at this villa. It’s so spacious and the beds are really comfy. It helped us feel a lot more replenished after travelling for a while. One thing that really stood out was the responsiveness & friendliness of the managers. I’m so grateful for their help in several situations, they were more than accommodating and always on hand if there were any problems. Would definitely recommend, especially for the price!

Inspected 3 times before we list to our platform
Years of inspection work taught us that quality consistency is the rarest commodity in the villa market. A single visit can't measure consistency; three visits can, and that's the entire reason for the structure.

Real photos, taken recently, no wide-angle tricks.
Our editor reviews every photograph before publication, with authority to refuse images for any reason that compromises reality match. The authority is exercised; not every shoot produces a publishable set.

We accept only villas that has no bad ratings
There is no acceptable level of recurring bad ratings on our platform. The standard isn't '85% satisfied'; it's 'no consistent pattern of dissatisfaction', and the difference between those two formulations matters operationally. The first allows for chronic problems within tolerance; the second doesn't — and we built our list around the second.

Owner identity verified, no anonymous landlords
Compliance has refused villas during verification even when inspection results were already positive. Verification can override inspection — and the override happens whenever the documentation tells a different story than the property. The willingness to override is part of why our acceptance process produces a defensible list.

All listed appliances tested and working at inspection
Replacement standards at Bali Villa Express specify acceptable brands and quality tiers for major appliances. Owners cannot replace with lower-grade equipment; the replacement must meet the same standard as the original acceptance.
